Vintage Studio Pottery Jug | Hand-Thrown | Mottled Olive Green Glaze | British Studio Pottery

A really satisfying hand-thrown studio pottery jug with a beautifully ribbed body and a rich, mottled glaze in deep olive, forest green, and warm brown. The pulled handle and pinched spout are textbook marks of a skilled hand at the wheel.

Sturdy enough to use daily as a milk or cream jug, beautiful enough to leave on a shelf permanently. Set it next to some foraged stems or a wooden board and it does all the work.

Almost certainly British studio pottery, likely 1960s–80s. No visible maker’s mark
